TG-Group and Pick Place strategic integration announcement

Expanding Robotics and Automation Capabilities

TG-Group and Pick Place are embarking on a strategic integration that strengthens TG-Group’s position as a future-oriented partner for packaging, robotics and industrial automation.

Since Waterland joined as a strategic partner in April 2025, TG-Group has continued to execute its growth strategy, bringing together complementary expertise in packaging, robotics and intelligent automation within one integrated ecosystem.

This combination brings together distinct strengths. Through its specialised companies, including TG-Packaging, Entrec, Frematt and A-tec, TG-Group has built deep capabilities in packaging machinery, infeed technology, flowpack solutions, retrofit projects, spare parts management and service.

Pick Place adds expertise in high-speed delta robotics, vision systems and AI-driven automation for food packaging and assembly lines. Together, the companies will offer a broader, end-to-end service: from initial engineering and machine development to advanced robotics, line integration and long-term maintenance.

The integration of Pick Place into TG-Group is rooted in clear industrial logic. Manufacturers are increasingly looking for partners who can help them improve efficiency, increase flexibility, reduce manual handling and future-proof their production environments.

By combining TG-Group’s engineering, production capacity and customer network with Pick Place’s specialised robotics and automation expertise, the group can deliver complete, tailored automation lines across various sectors, with a particular focus on the food industry.

“Pick Place becoming part of TG-Group marks an exciting new chapter for us. By combining our strengths and shared vision, we can accelerate new developments, improve our service and deliver greater results for our clients. Together, we aim to shape the direction of our industry with practical, forward-thinking solutions.”

Tom Vermonden, Founder and CEO of TG-Group

Broader Automation Options for Manufacturers

For customers, the integration means access to full-scale automation capabilities from a single partner. TG-Group and Pick Place will support manufacturers through every stage of their automation journey, from packaging equipment and line integration to advanced robotic applications and intelligent automation solutions.

This combined approach is designed to help factories increase output, adapt quickly to changing production needs and adopt new technologies faster.

A Stronger Platform for Robotic Innovation

The integration brings together a shared entrepreneurial culture and a long-term commitment to practical, high-quality and future-ready automation solutions.

Together, TG-Group and Pick Place are creating a stronger platform to accelerate robotic innovation and deliver lasting value to industrial customers.

The parties have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.
